GT Energy Points v9.42 User Guide

IMPORTANT REMINDER: There is a bug in pinescript that affects this app. The issue has been raised with Pinescript support, and they have identified the problem. They are looking into a fix, but the fix has not been released yet. In a nutshell, lines drawn in the future do not dynamically update, as you would normally expect. As time goes by, new pivots are being identified, EP forecasts are changing, but the tool is not updating the chart as expected.

Until pinescript fixes this bug, the solution is, after every 5 – 10 bars, go to settings and change almost anything, and it will force the indicator to re-fresh. You might go to settings and change the future bars number. For example, change it to 85 from 80, or something like that. Another idea that works quite well is to change the chart timeframe as a means to force a re-paint. It is fast, easy, and gives you an immediate look at any EPS in the new timeframe as well. For instance, if you are looking at a 3m chart, change to 2m or vice versa. This forces a re-paint AND shows you a quick look at the EPs in that timeframe. Nice side benefit.

ANYTIME YOU HAVEN’T TOUCHED A CHART FOR A WHILE, FORCE A REFRESH JUST IN CASE A REFRESH IS NEEDED!
