Poison in the heartland

The article above mentions that a mystery plant disease was recently identified near the Mississippi River. It seems that ALL plants and vegetation have been effected. Crops, trees and even weeds have been the victims. Indeed, apparently, EVERYTHING in it’s path is getting sick.

Of course, the Mississippi River has unavoidably been polluted by the chemicals (Corexit 9500) that BP has been pouring into the gulf by the tanker. I wonder if there is a connection?

If so, and I certainly hope there is NOT, then judgment day for America approaches. If in fact Corexit and/or the myriad other chemicals being pumped into the water for the past 2 months have begun poisoning all the crops along the Mississippi River, then this could be a very bleak growing season…
